Join us for the annual Como Community Easter Egg Hunt, taking place on the Saturday before Easter Sunday at the Como Community Center! This free, citywide event is a delightful way for families to celebrate the holiday together.
Children aged 13 and under are invited to participate in the egg hunt, where they can search for colorful eggs filled with treats and surprises. The event typically attracts over 400 children each year. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be plenty of fun activities to enjoy, including bounce houses, laser tag, and delicious food options.
To keep the festive spirit alive, we’ll have music, snow cones to beat the spring heat, and various vendors offering unique goods and treats. It’s a perfect day for families to come out, have fun, and create lasting memories.

Join us for the Annual Mother's Day Luncheon, held on the Saturday before Mother's Day at the Como Community Center. This event is a heartfelt celebration honoring 25 outstanding mothers from across Fort Worth.
Attendees will enjoy a delicious meal while listening to an inspiring guest speaker who will share insights and stories that resonate with the spirit of motherhood. The luncheon will also feature entertainment to enhance the festive atmosphere, along with door prizes for attendees. Each year, the luncheon attracts between 300 and 350 attendees, making it a cherished community tradition.

Join us for the Annual Paula Jackson Memorial Senior Prom, a special event designed for older adults to come together for an evening of celebration, joy, and connection. This enchanting prom invites seniors to dress up and enjoy a night filled with live entertainment, delicious food, and the opportunity to socialize with friends and neighbors.
The evening will feature the crowning of the Royal Court, including the Prom King and Queen, adding a touch of elegance and excitement to the festivities. Attendees will also have the chance to win door prizes throughout the night.
In 2024, the event welcomes 250 to 300 attendees, and participation continues growing yearly. This memorable event is a fantastic way to celebrate community, friendship, and the vibrant spirit of our senior citizens. We look forward to welcoming everyone for an unforgettable evening!
Join us for the Como Community Back to School Fair, a valuable event designed to support families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. This fair provides an opportunity for parents and children to receive essential school supplies, ensuring students are ready for success in the classroom.
To qualify for school supplies, attendees are required to participate in three of the four informative workshops offered. These workshops focus on important topics such as problem-solving, gun violence prevention, conflict resolution, and effective parenting strategies.
In addition to the workshops and school supplies, the fair will feature a variety of food options and local vendors, creating a vibrant community atmosphere. We invite all families to join us for this enriching event that combines education and support as we gear up for a successful school year.
The Como Community Halloween Fall Festival will be held at the Como Community Center on October 31. This free city-wide event provides a fun and safe environment for families to celebrate the Halloween season.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including laser tag, a bounce house, and games designed for all ages. A selection of food will be available, along with music to enhance the festive atmosphere.
